We are a small, passionate team dedicated to creating meaningful, sustainable change. Our employees are members of the ILWU Local 5. Our Union Collective Bargaining Agreement provides for competitive wages, benefits, and employee satisfaction.

Accompaniment Program Organizer

Portland, OR | Full-Time | Fair, Competitive Salary + generous benefits

Join a mission-driven nonprofit at the intersection of immigrant justice, faith-based organizing, and community advocacy.

IMIrJ is seeking a full-time Accompaniment Program Organizer (APO) to support the Accompaniment Coordinator and report directly to the Executive Director. This person will support day-to-day tasks and work towards major goals and objectives for the program. They will cover the program when the Accompaniment Coordinator is off, being part of a larger tapestry of migrant rights organizing. The Program Organizer has to have awareness and sensitivity for diverse cultural experiences and be skilled at supporting and inviting people to walk alongside migrants.

Resource Navigator

Beaverton, OR | 20 hours per week | Fair, Competitive Salary + generous benefits

Join a mission-driven nonprofit at the intersection of immigrant justice, faith-based organizing, and community advocacy.

IMIrJ is seeking a compassionate and resourceful Resource Navigator to serve as the primary point of contact for our Sanctuary Fund intake, including calling applicants, conducting intake conversations, and coordinating next steps. This role supports individuals and families by connecting them to essential resources, services, and IMIrJ programs, while fostering a welcoming and affirming environment.

The Resource Navigator will also be working alongside volunteers, faith-based communities, and community members to support relationships. This position requires strong communication skills, cultural humility, and the ability to navigate complex systems.
